Laurence Poirier MHScOT
Laurence graduated from the University of Ottawa with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and worked in that field for a decade before she discovered Occupational Therapy. She was so convinced she could make a difference in people’s lives as an OT that she completed her Masters of Health Science in Occupational Therapy at the University of Ottawa and is in the process of obtaining her permanent licence.
Laurence is passionate about giving children the opportunity to grow to the best of their abilities. She understands the importance of the environment in order to facilitate that growth and values therapy centered on the family as a hole. Offering services in both French and English, she is happy to have been given the opportunity to join this team.
Always looking to better her knowledge, you will find Laurence seeking experiences with other OT and actively looking for best practices at all times.
In her spare time, she likes to hike, play with her own three wonderful little persons, read, and witness creation in visual arts, music or theater of all kinds.
