Deanne is a mother of 12 year old triplet boys, who keep her on her toes daily! Between running from the ice rink, the soccer field or the tennis court she own’s and manages Family OT, a small private practise. Her love of children and helping others paved the way for the natural progression to branching out independently in 2016.
Deanne has over 16 year’s experience in Pediatric Occupational Therapy. Deanne graduated from Queens University, Kingston ON in 2002 with a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy. She is a member of the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario, and the Ontario Society of Occupational Therapists. Deanne also has a Bachelor of Education and is a member of the Ontario College of Teachers. She brings with her a unique combination of the education system and occupational therapy. Deanne has taught in the education system in Alberta, Canada and worked as an Occupational Therapist in the school setting both in Alberta and in Ontario for many years.
Deanne is passionate about family focused care; integrating the child and the family as a whole in developing her plans and consults with families on goal setting. Deanne is committed to building relationships with all people involved including families, schools, and the child to optimize client care and support for the family. Children and families need to feel supported in their journey to live their best life!
